UF, I think they got the favorable IRS reading but I agree that a postponement was a wise thing to do. Market conditions are just not good enough and a short wait doesn't hurt the company at all. Bill

I think the delay of Spinco is just plain smart. Why IPO into an uncertain market? It is unlikely that this same weakness will continue in the new year. There is a seasonal influx of money during the first part of the year, and Nov-march is the strongest portion of the year for tech stocks.
No need to try and stuff something into a tough market when it is likely to get better in only a few months.

UF - Have you seen ON24 article about the Q. To give you an idea the title is QCOM no longer a super stock. Not very positive. It anticipates management giving good news this afternoon to support the stock price.

I wonder how many people listen to this webcast? I do hope it has a very limited number of listeners.

I used to work for a Fortune 10 company in their tax dept. the irs ruling, while needed, was a formality. They didn't hold off on other decisions while waiting for the irs ruling.
