In Northern WI, there are dead deer in everyone's front lawn, hanging from trees upside down, gutted and bled.

Mostly they are hanging outside because their wives won't let them hang them inside the house. <g> Plus they need to hang for a day or two before you carve them up and you need to keep them cold.

The reason for the front yard as oposed to the backyard is you get fewer phone calls. All hunting season I hear my husband making phone calls to his hunting buddies, "Did you get yours?" Or answering the phone , "Nay, no luck, how'd you do?"

How's that wcom doing? -g-

It is probably a show off thing with the front yard. I don't really care as I am in B&C by accidents of fate, and I don't delve into their mindsets much. I hunt for various reasons you will never understand.
