Obviously you are using different standards in your comparison between RDRAM and DDR. If you mean to compare time to launch in PCs, then Rambus is way late as RDRAM didn't launch in PCs until 1999, or 8 years. If you mean as a memory, then DDR already launched, about a year ago, or 1996-1999 which is 3 years.

These sorts of comparisons don't matter anyway, but for you to make such obvious mistakes is amazing.
