You don't get over Alcohol abuse over night. The personality traits and character flaws are long-lasting... Bush has had a history of Alcohol abuse thru college , thru to his 40's. This is a lurking time bomb within his mental framework , and I would take this as a serious blow to Bush's credibility and ability to lead....or his ability to think clearly. The spin~spin the Gop is putting on this is really a sad charade...period. Dubya's character is deeply in question here. And 20 years of alcohol abuse is grounds for one to assume that his mental bent is an alcoholic one? You betcha, right down to the river-banks of denial. But that's an OK acceptable "decent" trait for a president to have , i guess. There have been many great presidents that had an "alcoholic " bent------->Not!

"eight years in the Whitehouse." and more than a few of us are a lot better off than we were before he came. his transgressions will be footnotes. it's gonna be Gore. 52% i doubt the country will change horses in the middle of the stream.

Bush is up against a bunch of lying, disreputable thugs. They will stop at nothing to hurt him. Clinton has hurt scores of people of people in his career. Gore will stop at nothing in his quest. He will have James Carville, Larry Flynt and the press out searching out anything to attack Governor Bush. There will be truths, half truths, outright lies and possibly planted misinformation designed to hurt Governor Bush. I just pray all thinking people will show Gore and his bush of losers that their type of dirty politics will not prevail.
