You've got to be kidding. This is the same electorate who twice elected an adultering, draft dodger to the WH. I doubt it makes a bit of difference. JLA

Kudlow: Investors Will Vote Bush

Nov 2 2000 11:51AM ET

By Lawrence Kudlow
Contributing Editor

A tracking poll from Investor’s Business Daily on Wednesday showed a huge,
19-percentage-point George W. Bush lead over Al Gore among investors who
own $10,000 or more in stock. Shareholders are the backbone of Bush support.
They are carrying him to victory.

Investor Class voters have been the invisible hand of American politics during
most of the 1990s, though most media commentators have missed the political
significance of this key group. Investors may well be the single biggest swing
factor in Tuesday's election. There are roughly 100 million of them.
Sixty-percent of likely voters are investors.

>>>Bush just completely blew it...election over.<<<

Gets pretty clear, doesn't it.

OK, so let's all elect a guy whose covering up information, in Year 2000 about a 24-year-old drunk driving arrest, fine and license suspension. Next, let's see what happens when and if it turns out Bush handlers were behind sending the debate tape to former New York Congressman Tom Downey.

Good point Swisstrader. GW has been the one playing the personal character card claiming the moral high ground for the last several months, so yes this is a legit issue. Over all these months and during all three debates GW would have us judge Gore based on the fact he worked with a guy who screwed around behind his wife's back, all the while GW knew full well he has his own personal vices too that nobody knew of yet...a little bit of the Jimmy Swaggart syndrome IMO.

I don't think this was a planned "hit" by the Dems...if they had this info on GW they would have and should have made it known months ago instead of letting GW claim to be the candidate of greater moral fiber for months on end. And GW's camp confirmed not only the DUI charge at the age of 30 but a longtime bout with the bottle leading GW to 'stop drinking at 40.' I actually find that more troubling than the DUI charge.

Last .02...I think GW is about as ready and capable to lead the US as Jimmy Carter was....

You aren't too bright. Bush never lied. However, AlGore the Junior did lie about his drug use and military record, as Perot stated.

And yes, the election is over and Bush and the US wins, you lose.
