In no way is it conclusive, and could change on the dime, but the SOX is ever so slightly starting to lag the NDX. This can be seen on the 1-min chart after 11:45.

Thanks Paul, Thought it had to be something like that. Given the rise over the past few days on QLGC, there must have been a lot of shorts getting killed. Where did you find that news release/information? GH

PS --- Do you know where one can get information over the net as to how much short interest there is on a given security? What services free or paid would have this information?
