Mr. Bush lied and hid the truth, by not disclosing that he was arrested.

Mr. Bush CHOSE not to discuss his past misdeeds.

But he NEVER claimed that he was some kind of angel, or had never broken the law (Karen Hughes apparently was the only one who may have mispoken about his ever being arrested).

He has just chosen not to discuss his younger days.

Again, if anyone has proof that Bush did something immoral or illegal during his governorship, that would be pertinent, but no one has offered the proof.

And btw, since the liberals are all clamoring for Bush to come forward on past drug use, it sounds like they haven't been able to independently dig up any dirt that would confirm it. If they had any credible evidence, it would already be out there.

But it would still not be pertinent unless it occurred while in office or during any period where he was running for office.

And this would be the same for any candidate, Gore, Clinton, Gary Hart... anyone.

Regards,

Ron
