. I am for Gore/Leiberman. Better economic, educational, senior, womens rights agenda. Bush is a throw back to the 50's. I prefer to look ahead than look back.

I hope that I'm not the first one to break this to you, but, if you are for those aforementioned issues (including the not-so-obvious 'women's rights' to abortion issue; which has been used as a liberal, political club to divide the electorate, to advance their own means for their own sake, and NOT for 'women's rights' at all) then Gore by far is not your guy.

In fact, if anything, it's GWB who is looking forward into the 21st century, for addressing many of the failed policies we have in place today; which have only been proven borne to regressive results, in the face of a seemingly evermore increasing (both in size and balance) tax burden on society today. Both the size and scope of the Federal Government has become a burden, on everyone.

The Federal Government initially was not designed to be a fix-all to all people, as we witness today. Practically everything they have indeed touched, has become worsened with their hands-on approach, giving those who are willing to abuse it, a tool in which they have spun into a perception that 'it' needs further 'fixing' by 'them', for us, hence "our further need for them". Empowering Gore would not only extend the failed policies of the past into the future, but would also build UPON them as well.

How this all relates to SUNW (and in my case MSFT) more directly should be quite apparent as to which of the two electable candidates is better for both our interests as investors; whether it be regulatory, taxation, limitation etc: George W. Bush.

Hi blisenko,

First you say that both candidates make decisions based upon polling results after the elections.

Then you say you prefer Gore becuase of his stated "positions on the issues" (education etal...).

Sorry, bud, you can't have it both ways. Either you believe what the candidates have to say on the issues and vote accordingly or you think both candidates are full of sh*t and you stay home (because both only operate by the polls).
