Ron- My basis is Gore wins Tuesday. Winning the White House means carrying the House of Representatives. They can't win the Senate only narrow the difference. Given that result, there is a blood bath in the Senate of those that pushed the party toward Bush (remember Newts head rolling?).

As far as Buchanan goes, I live in a pretty Republican part of the state and I see a more Buchanan display's than Gore's.

Ron- P.S. Today I saw more of the nasty mean spiritedness by the spin doctors that was shown in the 1998 election (the one Newt predicts a 30 seat gain). Meanwhile the Dems are going about their business talking about social security.

History is repeating itself. Watch Bush's numbers go down this weekend. You only have to have the lead at the finish line.
