They will both do what they are told to do. You are just choosing who's pitching you can swallow easier, and still look at yourself in the mirror.I predict that the image will be blurry at best.

Well said, Cobalt. I actually prefer some of the Gore proposals to Bush's. However, I tell my kids that fundamental integrity is the issue here, and Gore makes ya want to throw up on that account. This country deserves better. Besides, any promise, whether it is Gore's or Bush's will get significantly modified by the time it gets through both houses of Congress, so don't take campaign promises too seriously. Either candidate shouldn't worry about spending the surplus because the Congress will do it for them a couple of times over. Let's get a President that will help restore people's faith and trust in government.
