I doubt the DOJ would be happy about INTC buying the company that has a monopoly on DRAM

Craig, I was under the impression that Sandiskites should be on the side of the Rambusites in matters of protecting IP. Rambus is not doing anything that Sandisk is not doing in this respect. Not only that, they have not been to court yet, every time they seems to get there, they settle. Just in the last week Samsung (a long term "friend") and Elpida (a joint venture between a long term "friend" NEC and a long term "foe", Hitachi) signed license fro SDRAM and DDR.

Zeev (for obvious reasons, a LT supporter of IP rights (VBG).

Question: What do you call 1,000 lawyers drowned and laying at the bottom of the sea?
Answer: A good start.

LOL.

Why do you think RMBS will be bought by INTC? I happen to be a RMBS owner so I am very interested in your take. What good will it server INTC? They are buying a company barely making any money with their own 30 PE stock. It will have a very dilutive effect.

Plus, if INTC buys RMBS and gives everyone a free ride on the royalties, they will just kill RMBS's business. Not a good tactic in my opinion.

We will see.

Question: What do you call 1,000 lawyers drowned and laying at the bottom of the sea?

I have heard a slightly different version.

Question: What do you call a bus full of lawyers (with one seat empty) going over a cliff?

Answer: A waste of space.
