Hi Bernie, The American Express deal is pretty darn good for most folks. I think I was under the assumption that there was an annual fee as well. Thanks for clearing that up.

If I look at my "average" number of trades per stock in a year's time, I think it comes out still to about 5 or 6 trades. I'll have to check, it's been a long time since I've looked at that. In the last couple of years with the additional market surges and declines, I may have upped that average/stock.

Again, is one sticks to a plan of trading only after an interval of time has passed since the last trade, then it should be easy to stay within American Express's guidelines for a concentrated portfolio.

I guess if you AIMed 100 different equities, then it might get tuff! :-)
