Only one percent of likely Bush voters expressed concern over the DUI issue in an ABC News poll. It doesn't matter where the rest of those voters come from as long as the base is solid. Bush's base is solid compared to Gore, who may even lose his home (he was born there, I think) State.

First, we're not talking about "alcoholism," so let's dismiss that notion immediately. As to the 7%, it is 7% of ALL voters. That includes Gore's 39%, which means that even the vast majority of Gore supporters don't think it matters. I'd venture a guess that the entire 7% is comprised of Gore voters, who are trying to make a story out of nothing.

CNN reported yesterday that California is now a dead heat.
