Zogby says Bush 47% and Gore 46%. Gore ahead in Florida, Penn.,and Michigan. Bush ahead in Wisconsin and Missouri. A tie in Tennessee. This is getting interesting.

I agree Ron...However, it is odd that we can't easily put our hands (so to speak) on the information more easily!

We are a nation of immigrants. However, immigrants over the centuries have learned English first, and worked at any job possible to earn a living. I know mine did (I've studied family history for 25+ years for myself and many other people.) They worked hard, and seem to have enjoyed having the opportunity to succeed and raise their families in freedom.

Regarding refugees, I believe there should be press releases as to the numbers we are admiting to the US. If in fact, the number is 4-8 times as many as legal immigrants, I feel we need to know that.

Do you know when Social Security was granted to refugees? I don't believe that was the original intent of this fund.

Regarding illegals....why bother having a policy, if we aren't going to enforce it?

Rather than enticing them to illegally immigrate here, we must take more active steps to improve their economies there. Agreed, but how to do that, when many of the countries have a dictatorship, and don't care about their people. It does seem most often, the money/goods sent to these countries do not reach the people we intended to help.
