This is where you get real Stupid Ron, just because the NAZI party had the socialist in it does not mean they were leftists. Leftists sort of believe in letting all things be and extreme rightists impose their will on all. And trust me Ron, even though NAZISM had the word socialist in their name they were as far right as it can get. It is so sad you can't put enough wattage in your lights to see this basic principle!!!!!!!!!!

1. A Label.
2. Hitler persecuted the Jews and used the Christians as they were the initial base of his support. Somehow Hitler needed to rally the "good German people" and to do that, he needed an enemy. The enemy of choice were the Jews, who were made the target of everything that was bad in Germany at the time. And who do you think "the good German people" were? Atheists? If Hitler had equally persecuted Jews and Christians, who would he have had left to fight? Were there groups of Christians that did not go along with Hitler? Yes. And I'm sure these "traitors" were persecuted. But at the same time, there is no question that by targeting the Jews as the enemy, Hitler was able to rally "the good, pure (read: "Christian") people of Germany to fight "the good war" against the Jews and the Communists.

Does any of this sound familiar?
