E. Very good links. Even if they do tout gnome. As to rhat IBM, The nature of Linux is that IBM can work with rhat if they choose, but you don't need rocket scientists or any special experts from redhat to make this happen. IBM has most likely as many or more people in Japan as rhat has people.

E. after I read your post and responded I went to the Linux board and figured out the netlinux.dynip.com is yours. The content is well done. But I think you need to create visual ques for each of the paragraphs and the topic matrix at the top. I'd use a bullet, some little gif file and <p> to visually separate.

Of course I would also point out that in Linux you can with little money create mega display systems.
