As a Lutheran I can tell you that we are a very progressive, dare I say liberal, denomination. At the same time, we are very traditional and share many rituals with the Catholic church.

Neither is surprising when you consider the founder of protestantism, Martin Luther, was the first Lutheran.

You got it. That's their official position. Most of the members blend creationism and evolution. My view is how long is God's day?
