Congratulations Hubel! U R winner of the hotly contested and much coveted Dense-PAK Cliche Award! U have jammed more complacent cliches into one self-serving post THAN ANYONE ELSE on this thread over the past one hour!!!!! That's quite an accomplishment. In recognition, U will be receiving your award -- an unopened can of Billy Beer in MINT condition -- shortly. Again, congrats! M2

Bush campaign spokesman Ari Fleischer said the governor "believes all crime is a hate crime and should be fully prosecuted under the law."

Oh, I forgot, we are talking about Bush and what he says doesn't matter.

Reinstilling moral fibre and respect for your fellow man will do more to prevent these types of crime than any law. But as we all know that requires more time, effort and persistence.

Till then, enact hate crime legislation and then phase it out once that goal has reached.
Remember Lynch Crime... Why did they have to enact that? After all it is just another crime. There had been a reason behind it. I think, some of the legislations need to have some sort of expiry date that need to be renewed or rejected by further legislation (I think it does happen but same should apply to all laws)
