The samples are currently being analyzed. A geophysical magnetic survey comprising 45 line kilometres has also been completed. Several occurrences of copper-gold mineralization outlined during the geological mapping and geochemical program will be included in the areas to be trenched by excavator commencing mid-November. Detailed data evaluation, including soil geochemistry, geophysical data, trenching results and detailed geology, are expected to be completed by year-end. Arizaro property - The company is currently conducting detailed geologic mapping and has completed an extensive talus fines geochemical survey. Results from the geochemical survey have outlined a gold-copper anomaly over 900 metres by 800 metres which remain open to the north. In addition, the Lindero zone, a new zone of copper-gold mineralization, was encountered three kilometres north of the original Arizaro discovery. It exhibits similar mineralogical and lithological characteristics. Prospect sampling at the Lindero zone has returned several samples in excess of two grams per tonne gold with a high of 6.67 grams per tonne gold and copper values ranging to 0.62 per cent. Further surface trenching is currently under way on Arizaro and will enable the company to prioritize drill targets. In addition, a surface geochemical survey has commenced on the Lindero zone. Aguas Calientes property - Sunshine Argentina Gold Inc. has commenced a 1,500-metre drill program on the company's Aguas Calientes property. The program has been designed to drill test the Boulder zone mineralized structure where a 500-metre by 2,000-metre gold and aresenic surface geochemical anomaly has been defined. In addition, several drill holes will test the Ambrosia zone where gold mineralization is exposed over a 1,000-metre-long by 50-metre-thick zone. Mineralization at Aguas Calientes is of the high-sulphidation type and shows similarities to other epithermal districts in Argentina, such as Veladero in San Juan province. The company has agreed to amend its option agreement with Sunshine Argentina by extending the time frame for payments and expenditures by one year. Sunshine Argentina may also elect to postpone the payments and expenditure obligations by an addtional year by paying $50,000 (U.S.) in February, 2002, and $50,000 (U.S.) in August, 2002. Cerro Samenta - A new zone of copper-gold-flourite-specularite mineralization has been discovered on the southeast portion of the property. This zone is not believed to be related to the original Cerro Samenta copper-molybdenum porphyry. Local flourite and copper-gold mineralization has been sporadically identified over a one-kilometre by four-kilometre area with a main stockwork/breccia zone over a 600-metre by 300-metre area. Teck Corporation is currently reviewing this new discovery in conjunction with all previous data generated on the project to determine its future exploration plans. General exploration Field crews are currently exploring areas within the northwestern part of Argentina with emphasis on the discovery of more iron-oxide-copper-gold prospects. cheers, jerry
