one art teacher i know who does a lot of photography says that at this time, digital photography is not that easy to do, sounds to me like j6p might muck up a few rolls before getting the hang of it. or would they just go back to what they know ? esp for those 'kodak' moments of the family or the once in a lifetime trip to Toronto <g>

this is correct. what's generally overlooked is the fact that digital is still a)too expensive and b) of not exactly the same quality as traditional photography. which has enormous implications for future sources of demand from places like China and India. it's easily imaginable for a Kodak pocket camera to be sought after by the masses that are on the cusp of becoming a middle class in these countries...it's less easy to imagine them shelling out serious money for digital equipment. imo the whole thing is a bit of scaremongering by the shorts, who have a LOT to lose if there's ever a significant rally.
