Tenchu, What lies on the horizon for computing after we hit the wall? Quantum computing? optical?
Of course, what are the true walls. We have broken many walls already and come far further than most people expected.
Soon it will be impossible to shield critical spaces from stray cosmic rays and these will be able to flip states at will. We will need error correcting logic at all levels, 3 input consensus gates etc, but at .01 we will be able to afford the real estate.
