Actually if we can get the fiber optics to tank more next week SDLI Dec 300's might be a real nice 'short term' play. March 300's would be even nicer but a little expensive still.

I'm already overweighted in jdsu via common, short puts, and some calls, so I won't be buying more. Your thinking on the deal makes sense but Rick is buying SDLI, as you get the pop from the 3.8. >> Yes, I know I asked alot of jdsu questions today......you commented that if I ask a question anybody will respond even if not directed at them. Well Dealie had a good point last week in that many times folks dont read all the posts and if not directed at them, they may not see it. With this in mind, I posted some general questions on JDSU which one or two responded to, but figured I'd also direct the posts directly to the person I was hoping to get a response from. Anyway, I remember alot of folks were taking the sdli side, but wasn't there some question as to whether the conversion went from 3.8 to 3.2...I vaguely remember something about that. Either way, both jdsu and sdli will move in tandem, so I assume you are still fairly positive about JDSU prospects over the next 4 - 6 months and arent buying now simply because you are overweighted in it? Good luck....I'll be buying more jdsu march 110's for $2 tomorrow if they'll let me...and if gore wins, I may be buying a boatload for .50cents<ggg> Keith
