Launched in late September, the "Go Purple" vendor partnering program connects service providers, e-businesses, and large enterprises to an elite class of industry proven and interoperable products that define the next generation of IP networks. For the program, Extreme Networks sought out market leading complementary technology solutions that were tested in their labs for interoperability, and in many cases, already installed in customer sites. The test confirmed that the Quintum H.323 Gateway is a practical alternative that allows legacy PBX calls to be routed over IP through Extreme Networks' Gigabit Ethernet solution.
