Dave, I am not sure which Wall Street people you are talking to but not one that I have talked to wanted Al Gore unless they were going to get some sort of appointment from him. When Bill Clinton became president in 1993 the market was in the 3300 range and then in 1995 the market was at 3800. That is 15 % for a 2 year period !!!

When the Republicans entered the House the market went from 3800 to 11,000 in 5 years, the facts don't lie. 15% in 2 years or 300 % for 5 years. The market has not tripled since Clinton was in office , it has tripled since the Republicans gained control of Congress.
