Nader got 95,000 votes in Florida, stealing the election from Gore. It looks like the smartest decision in this election could have been when Bush picked Chaney as VP if the military absentee vote is going to make the final decision in this election.

No mandate for change of any kind. No tax cut. No change in Social Security. No repeal of inheritance tax. Al Gore ran against these issues and won the popular vote so Republican controlled Congress will make no changes. Republican Senators up for election in 2002 will be afraid to make changes after looking at this vote.
