As I said before, I do think GW will cling by a fingernail to FL, barring any extenuating circumstances, ranging from honest mistakes to preplanned shenanigans. GW had better deliver on his promise to bridge the differences between the two parties or he will find a heck of a lot more than 1,700 FL people wishing they had changed their vote.

Kenneth, unfortunelty, you're wrong. Once a President is in there (especially when its Bush with freindly Congress) he'll do whatever he wants to do. Never believed this mandate stuff. This election is insane! Who would have thought Gore would win the popular, and that this entire election is coming down to a handful of votes!!!
Anybody, any thought on how those confused Buchanan votes might be treated? Could each person be telephoned as to how they voted? Obviously, they can't assume that they're Gore votes and give it to him.
