Its going to be tough Eric, especially with Zinc EneMa and Pa "Whoop Ass" coming to market. Imagine. Cure the common cold and hemorrhoids at the same time.

Eric...

On Nov. 8, I posted that my local (Sudbury MA)CVS did not carry ZICAM. You asked that I look at other CVS stores in the local area to see if it was a CVS issue.

This week I have been I have been in Nashville. I did some checking around.

CVS: Visited 2 stores and neither carried ZICAM.
Walgram: Across the street from one of the CVS stores, did carry ZICAM
Kroegar: Did carry ZICAM

It seems like a CVS issue. My guess is that they have chosen not to carry but surely I admit, my study is not exhaustive.

Other observations on stores that did carry it.

No special promotions of product. Simply on a shelf along side Cold Ezze products.

Prices ranged from 11.99 to 9.99, about double the Cold Ezze price. Both to me seened to offer the same benefits. I wondered why I would ever be motivated to purchase the higher costing (ZICAM) one.

I am surprised that CVS, being the largest drug chain in number of stores and second to Walgren in revenue does not seem to carry it. Walgren stores at least to me seemed to offer a much wider selection of non-drug products which perhaps makes them larger in overall revenue.

Finally, I have no position, lean toward shorting but continue to wait for the long awaited short squeeze.

Back to lurking and enjoying the banter on this thread.
