Since 49% of the electorate voted for Al Gore, they obviously didn't agree with you. The people have spoken. They declared they preferred Al Gore over George Bush but an arcane provision in our constitution over rides the will of the people. When the same thing happened to Grover Cleveland, he came back and won re-election. Perhaps, we will see a repeat of history. Time will tell.
