Hi Steve,
Now, if we could only get weather people to predict as well as the Pollsters! They've been calling this one a close one for quite some time. At my own voting place, they had a steady stream of voters all day and had already clocked a goodly number by 11AM when I voted. Something I've never seen before was people standing in line to register. I don't think I've ever seen anyone registering when I've gone to vote before.

Something stirred up a lot of people this time, nation wide. Not many of the "issues" discussed pushed many buttons with me personally. I was more concerned with what they weren't discussing maybe. In any case, the last thing I saw on TV was "FRONTLINE" on PBS. It devoted some serious time to bios of both Gore and Bush. That may have done more to confirm my vote than any other thing this year.

When I flipped on the computer this AM and brought up the Milwaukee Journal/Sentinal to see who won, I couldn't believe they hadn't yet settled the thing! I guess we could just leave Bill in there until 2004 and then try again.

Best regards, Tom
