On big differnce between XAU 43 and OSX 50.

Oil and natural gas are essential commodities. Anybody with any sense knew that a substantial rebound from OSX 50 was just a matter of time. Besides there are powerful forces in the world that wanted higher oil prices.

Gold by contrast has few or no powerful friends in the world. Western CBs and financial institutions are trying to entirely eliminate gold from the world monetary system. If gold is ever viewed as just another commodity with no monetary role to play, it could fall a lot lower given the huge above ground stockpiles.

What I am trying to say that gold is more of a gamble than an investment. There is no certainty it will ever come back in a major way. It might or it might not.

In short OSX 50 was an excellent INVESTMENT, but XAU 43 is nothing more than an interesting GAMBLE.
