Teresa,

Nice thread you have here... Resisting the temptation to trade the furious (temporary) move against a trend one of the hallmarks of a disciplined trader. These counter moves often panicky as most are shocked when it happens..

I am actually considering catching the PMCS knife tomorrow anywhere close to the 105 area... my reasons? .. can't resist a stock that has shown it can squeeze to the tune of 30 points in a single day..

Oh.. also great company and $110 April low.. there is a place for buying lows and shorting highs, right?

The funny thing is I have great scans that isolate long and short lists everyday.. guess I sometimes flip the lists as stocks have an eerie ability to know when Rashid is on board and change trend immediately..

Rashid

Theresa, I tho it had a gap around 150 (not looking at a chart), so that many expected it to bounce there, which it did. (brcm)

However just looked at a chart and I'm a bit wrong:

siliconinvestor.com

I guess it was down to 115...

Can you make one of your charts with the pink lines for me? <g> I often trade brcm.

re; stop losses, I have to agree. I have lost again and again the last 6 weeks by not doing so. Yet I've had many successful trades too. So if I'd set stop losses I'd be way ahead of where I am now.

I can't access your link above about your class. It says page not found. I'll try again later.
