I don't think it is about the elections anymore. People are
spooked aboput all the telecom debt. On top of that we
have the networking chips like BRCM, PMCS getting hammered
owing to CSCO 's call that they ordered more chips than they
needed.

Well you know, there is uncertainty. Not just because of the president, but also because possibly both houses of congress and exec will be controlled by same party. So that is a change from the current status. Which means there will be less inhibition to waste the surplus on tax breaks. I think the market would have rallied if democrats had won something. Anything!

Olu: Lets say you expected a brief Bush rally - I know I did. A rally that you were interested in selling into -- I know I was. But instead you got nothing - no Bush victory and no rally -- what would you do? Sell anyway, which is what happened. I think the real issue is whether or not there would be a rally if the election gets settled tomorrow -- I know I hope so.
