Palm Beach County, Fla. Residents File Suit For Revote

ORLANDO (Dow Jones)--Three Palm Beach County residents filed suit in state circuit court in Palm Beach late Tuesday seeking to nullify the presidential result in Palm Beach County and force a re-vote.

They cited a confusing ballot layout which allegedly caused them to vote for Pat Buchanan instead of Al Gore.

"At first, they believed it was their own error," said their attorney Henry Handler. "But they discovered later in the press accounts that they were not alone.

They feel the ballot was so deceiving that they were disenfranchised."

Named as defendants were the Palm Beach County canvassing board and election supervisor as well as the Bush and Gore campaigns. Naming the Gore campaign as a defendant will allow the vice president's lawyers to enter the case without becoming plaintiffs.

The three residents are Delray Beach city commissioner Alberta McCarthy, Delray chiropractor Andre Fladell and West Palm Beach homemaker Lillian Gaines.

Thanks for the definition of "we", although I wasn't asking for one. At the same time. since you are good with two-letter words, would you care to tackle "is"?

Now just clear up how "we" invite irresponsible and apathetic voters to participate? I also note you bypassed the opportunity to define "invite".

Am I surprised? Are you kidding?
