That ballot was used throughout the Chicago area with no problem. It was said that the size of the Buchanan vote was similar to earlier elections in the county where he was on the ballot. This should be verifiable. This feels trumped up to me.

On Fox News in an effort keep the evening alive, one reporter covered the get out to vote movement for Gore.
The Democratic activist movement, went to the Florida jails and had registered those inmates who had not be convicted of a felon before the deadline.
A few more thousand votes for the donkeys.
