I believe the correct legal response to those who got "confused" regarding the ballot layout will be:

"Tough titty, said the kitty...milk's gone dry!"<G>

The question would be whether the ballot was so confusing as to invalidate the election. I heard a woman on Palm Beach TV, via C-Span, saying she "might" have made a mistake. The ballots are secret, so who can say who cast which ballot?

If you were arguing that the Palm Beach vote was valid, what would be your defense to the fact that Buchanan recieved 20% of his total vote from Palm Beach and also that the socialist candidate recieved 50% of his vote from Palm Beach, while Palm beach only makes up 7% of the state and it's heavily Democrat? These are the 2000 votes to put Gore over the top.

Yes and there was another that said she voted for Bore but
an old person could make a mistake. And she was older than dirt
