Thats whats cool about trading, I tend to agree with you..however Vad makes money and I make money and maybe you do too, I dont know you so I cant say. Trading really isnt so much about the methods you use as it is about you and about being consistant.

probably wouldn't buy a stock that with a chart like this

not sure why not... movements anywhere from 1/2 to 2 points both directions were quite enough to capitalize on, and fairly readable.
May be we are just talking different time frames?
Anyway, several next classes added will help us to find out all the matches and differencies (latter are quite normal, there is no single right style :)
It's quite possible that trader with different approach would have shorted it in the morning and covered somewhere close to the low, or found third way to capitalize. Well, I mostly play singles, not home runs. Works for me...
