OT -- Here are some late breaking news from Palm Beach county. The problem of Gore-Buchanan confusion in the ballot is apparently much much larger than my original estimate of 2800 miscast votes. There are 19100 disqualified votes in the presidential race, 5 times more than the number expected based on disqualification percentages in the other races. Almost all probably involve people that voted both for Buchanan AND Gore. Apparently large numbers of people punched first the Buchanan hole, realized their mistake, and then punched Gore's hole, resulting in a disqualified ballot. Kyros
