NYTimes published some recount results. It appears that both sides gained, but Gore gained a few hundred more votes than Bush. About 40% of precints were covered. Ibexx

The country of Israel appears to have an interesting family-work life style that tends to be more integrated as a whole, which appears to provide better care for their country's children.
