they give you a slip of paper that will get you a ballot at your precinct..or you can request a ballot right there and fill it out and submit it

Interesting, uw, thanks for the explanation. It's not that easy to vote in California and I didn't know about the difference.

Oh how well the Democratic Party in Calif. knows that! They help the Illegal Aliens fill out the voter registration along with the citizenship papers that they are assured will be processed successfully.
It is so bad there, that the news people now refer to illegal aliens as "Undocumented Immigrants".
As far as states knowing who to vote for. What kind of statement does it make for the Democratic party when both the President's, and Vice President's states, vote for the opposing party's candidate?
