Party assists the comatose residents to complete and mail
in their absentee ballots.

What kind of statement does it make for the Democratic party when both the President's, and Vice President's states, vote for the opposing party's candidate?

It says two things:
1 The candidates have not been in local politics for a while.
2 The candidates are not of the majority party of the states.
