Ice, I've worked from home and had the news on for the past few days and have caught about 16 hours of coverage each of the last two days. Mark my words, we are going to enter the weekend with uncertainty. Nothing will be solved at the end of tommorrow. The vote will still be so close that it won't be able to be called due to the absentee votes. The mess developing in Palm Beach is much greater than anyone is willing to admit. It seems to me the national media has made a mockery of themselves by first giving Florida to Gore, taking it back, later giving it to Bush and announcing him the president, then hours later taking that back and having a vote difference of 1000 with the entire election riding on the state. I think at this point they aren't willing to speculate, but are just doing objective reporting of the facts. The democrats will be outraged rightly so over what went on in Palm Beach. One of the other precincts that has not reported is claiming they have a discrepeny, but the news media is unwilling to talk about what this means. I watched the Gore campaign director interview an hour ago and it's clear they have something up their sleeves, as they are sending 50 lawyers to Palm Beach overnight, but the media won't speculate one bit on this, they just play the interview. Meanwhile, Jesse Jackson is going to Palm Beach tommorrow for the mother of all rallies. It's not going to be a pretty picture in Palm Beach tommorrow. By the end of the day tommorrow, the media will finally admit the problem we have on our hands. At this point, it's clear they are afraid to speculate too much and are waiting on Gore or Bush to make a move they report on.
