There is a lot to be said for this concept and it's far from one dimensional. I again say this is where the Great Republican Lie is. The GOP always repeats the mantra about "removing government from peoples' lives". The problem is that they have no intentions on following through with this, and if left to the desires of the Conservative Right, they will move even further to reduce individual freedoms. They want to impose their values on the country because the "believe" they "know The Answer" This comes from the superior belief in "Christian Values" at the expense of different views and concepts. This is not, and hopefully never will be, a "Christian Nation". Unfortunately, I believe this to be the ultimate goal, if it's not already the belief, of the Right. This is the UNITED STATES of America.
