Lawyers for the Democratic Party (news - web sites) said that the design of the Palm Beach County ballot is illegal and that they may ask for a re-vote. But no immediate action was taken by the party.

The illegality is that the law call for the check box to the right of the candidates name. On these ballots the check box for Buchanan is to the left.

Can't furnish a link that references the law. But you'll be seeing it soon enough.

>How?

Florida law specifies that voters mark an X in the blank space to the right of the name of the candidate they want to vote for.
Jeff Liggio, a lawyer for county Democrats, called the ballot illegal. “Right means right, doesn’t it? The state law says right. It doesn’t mean left,” he said

Democrats spent the whole (pre)election trashing Texas. Turns out Fl is the bung hole of the US. So incompetent, backward, and ignorant they can't run a simple election without bollixing it all up.

Kick 'em out of the union till they can come up to the minimum standards of a United State.

The other possibility is the Democrats are wrong and smearing 20 million good people for crass partisan political purposes.
