Scumbria "He will not be accepted as President."

If he gets 270 electoral votes he will. Live with it.

Scumbria,

You think that your candidate won the first election.

I think it will go by the re-count, not by the first count. They still have to count the overseas ballots. BTW, it is time we got rid of this possibility of receiving any ballots after the polls close. I think they should make it the responsibility of the person mailing the ballots to mail them (or fedex them) so that they arrive by the time the voting ends.

This election now has zero chance of being accepted by the lions share of voters in the last election. The people conducting the election in Florida are the friend and kin of George Junior.

Are you suggesting that Florida should have been given automatically to Gore because Jeb Bush is the governor of Florida? Without voting? The person in charge of re-count now is Gore campaign manager. Does this mean that if Gore wins it is illegitimate?

There were numerous voting irregularities in Florida.

I personally witnessed one "irregularity" in New York as I waited in line to vote. Should New York have another election?

Gore won the popular vote across the country.

The presidential elections are decided by the electoral college.

you are going to have to recognize that George Junior will gain no legitimacy from a declared win in Florida.

What if Gore is declared the winner. Will he have legitimacy?

He will not be accepted as President.

By whom? I have no problem accepting him. I know you have a problem accepting him even if he won 50 states in a landslide.

Scumbria,

Yesterday, they said Gore would be lucky if he picked up a few votes in the recount....that recounts don't generate a lot of new votes. With less than half the precincts counted in FLA, Gore has picked up 900+ votes.

If Gore and the democrats don't sue to stay this election, I will.....its becoming a farce. Maybe the networks were right in their original call Tues. nite but then some vote manipulation came into play in FLA.
