Tim Oregon had both candidates visit Oregon more then 20 times in the last 5 months.

Why should 2 very small states get more representation then one state that is also small but has more population then both of them put together? I think constituionally the states are responsible for more then they actually are in practice, I'm all for "states rights", but we are one nation not an aliance of states. Why should smaller states have more representation in congress or in the electoral college then their share of the population?

You statement seems week at best. Small states don't get more representation. The get equal power in senate, but not the House. Why do you think California has more electoral votes? Because hit has more Congressmen.

But if you take away the E.C. then small states will be ignored.

The forefathers were much wiser than we think.

If Bush takes FL. then he won the Popular vote in MORE states then Gore did. The overall total vote doesn't matter as we are a representative government and not a populous government.
