I clearly understand what you're saying, but the SAME error can be made everywhere else on the ballot. If you don't punch the whole directly across from the arrow, then it is either a "no vote", or a person/issue that you didn't intend to vote for. RW

I'm shocked that so many GOPwingers posting on this thread seem to have wanted the elderly Americans to have read and punch-holed their respective ballots as if they were printed in Chinese.

I understand what you are saying and I agree but there is one thing I am confused about. When they show the people in Florida voting they are not punching holes in ballots they are punching holes in punch cards. I think this would make it even more confusing to the voters who saw Gores name second on the ballot. They say it second and they punched the second hole on the card.
