Amy and all, more statements from Daley:

usatoday.com

''Technicalities should not determine the president of the United States, the will of the people should,'' Gore campaign chairman William Daley said in Florida, where some voters say that confusing ballots may have led them to vote for Pat Buchanan when they meant to support the vice president.

What a jerk. Why does he think he's speaking for the "will of the people"? I think what the people want is someone to be decided president, and soon. Not more of this partisan crap that we already grew sick-n-tired of during the Lewinsky scandal.

Not that the GOP wouldn't have done the same thing if they were in Daley's shoes. But we've had record turnout this year in the polls, and the surest way to kill off that record turnout in future elections is more partisan bickering.

Daley is doing a big disservice to this nation, and Al Gore is doing nothing to stop him. Thanks a lot, Daley.
