Yes, there are some military families who are on food stamps now but they were also on food stamps when Reagan and Bush were presidents. In most cases it has to due with poor money management by many military families and also the high cost of living near many military bases. By the way, there are many alcoholics in the military and for years the military subsidized the cost of beer on bases. Don
