The Florida statutes speaks of wherethe "x" to vote is to be placed. The statute is very specific. 66 of 67 counties followed the law. Palm Beach did not. As for the sample ballot being published before the election, it was BUT where voters were going to punch was not.

Call it technical. I really don't care. It is clear thousands of people were confused by the design.

As for the Bush camps assertion that Daley's brother uses a butterfly ballot in Cook County, Illinois, that too is incorrect. The ballot used for federal canidates in on a single page. Only local officials and non-contested juducial elections use the butterfly ballot. And, it should be pointed out that the butterfly ballot is not illegal under Illinois statute.

If you want common sense, then you have to come to the conclusion that the ballot was not legal in form and many people voted incorrectly. It's that simple.

What you do about it, is not simple.

Yes Rocket,

and then the entire arsenal of errors and mistakes and human made fallacies on all the ballots are distributed on election day and everyone makes a damn mark on error containing material and hands it back in, BUT, THAT IS OUR ELECTION DAY AND IT ENDS THERE UNTIL THE NEXT FALIBLE ELECTION DAY and the one fortunate to receive the most marks, mistaken or not,- Guess what? He wins! He Wins

Jeez,

Vster not quite as pissed

"Not black or white, but wrong or right." Oh, yea. <not> The ballot was designed, prepared, approved, published, and disseminated by DEMOCRATS. Only after they lost did they raise any questions. Duh???????????????????????
