Agreed. My wife (who is politically very astute) says that the sad thing about this election is that it proves to the politicians and strategists that negative campaigning and scare-tactics work. The divisiveness of all this is what makes me sad. Genuine political discourse could go the way of the dinosaur. The question is....can we ever go back?

A sorry state of affairs indeed. I wonder if Teflon Bill is even remotely sorry for setting the stage for all of this. Probably not. Hillary is worse.
